Intermezzo

Met hooggespannen verwachtingen kwamen we hier aan. Op internet was het al zo mooi. Dan is het helemaal top als het echt de verwachting dik overtreft! Alles is even fraai en smaakvol. Met een scherp oog voor details in het huis. En een hoog comfort. Zelden (nog nooit) hebben we gelogeerd in zo’n prachtig vormgegeven huis/woonboot. Dat aangevuld met een mooie tuin en een super ligging in de natuur vlak bij Giethoorn. Dank ook aan de eigenaren voor een prettige ontvangst. Wij komen zeker een keer terug!

A fantastic 10 days. This beautiful houseboat was a great place to stay and explore the surrounding area by bike and boat... or simply read a book and watch the world go by with a glass of wine. 100% recommended.

We have just returned from an amazing week at the Intermezzo. The house boat is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed and the surroundings are very relaxing. Communication with Marja was excellent and Joke made us feel very welcome when we arrived. Our two boys (11 & 14) found plenty to do in the area. We all enjoyed hiring boats and bikes and our sons also loved the climbing forest in Passloo. I definitely recommend this holiday. The Intermezzo is the perfect place to stay in this beautiful part of Holland.

Wir haben ein Wochenende in der Wasservilla Intermezzo verbracht und es hat uns ausnehmend gut gefallen. Beginnend mit dem sehr netten Empfang und Einweisung durch die Hausnachbarin, fanden wir ein Hausboot vor, das den eingestellten Fotos absolut entsprach. Es hat eine sehr geschmackvolle Raumaufteilung und eine hochwertige Innengestaltung mit dem unvergleichlichen Blick durch die Komplettverglasung auf den Kanal. Wir haben ein Boot angemietet und die Umgebung vom Wasser aus erkundet und dabei festgestellt, das die Wasservilla in ihrer Art das beeindruckenste und aussergewöhnlichste Hausboot in der dortigen Region ist. Wij hebben genoten van een luxe week verblijven op de woonboot. De hele ambiance van de boot viel in de smaak bij mijn vriendin en ik. We waren van alle gemakken voorzien, en dit maakte dat wij optimaal konden genieten van de onze vakantie in Giethoorn. De omgeving straalt rust uit, en alles is goed bereikbaar.

The boat house was more than a mazing specially the technology it is a smart house but not all of it working and the location are so so private and the hospitality was so nice from Joke . And you will need to rent a bicycle 24 hours .

The villa is well maintained and clean. Everything was great, we enjoyed our stay. The host was helpful, we had great time and the distance from the centrum is 5 min drive. There is nearby boat rental. I recommend this villa for who ever will visit Geithoorn.

This is a beautiful home in the nature preserve away from he hustle and business of Giethoorne. So lively. Be sure to rent a boat from Otterskooi when you are there. The bikes are ideal.

Le logement est très bien décoré, très moderne et situé dans une zone calme à proximité de Giethoorn. Tout était très propre et nous avons trouvé tout le confort souhaité. Nous avons apprécié le "panier de bienvenue" et l'acceuile de Joke (en l'absence de Marja et Théo). Il faut tout de même noter que les stores ne sont pas opaques et la lumière parait donc le matin. Cependant, tout était parfait pour notre court séjour.

Es war ein toller Urlaub. Großes Lob an die Betreuung vor Ort. Sauberkeit perfekt. Sehr modern wie auf den Bildern. Manko: Privatsphäre war etwas schwieriger 😀 ist ja alles verglast (aber wir könnten uns damit abfinden. Und paar wirklich minimale Kleinigkeiten. Aber unser Feedback würde positiv angenommen und man merkt es wird stetig daran gearbeitet um es zu verbessern 🙂 toll

Een geweldige, moderne woonboot, super gelegen vlakbij de Weerribben en het Beulakermeer. Mooie ligplaats met lekker uitzicht. Heerlijk genieten van de natuur, de vogels. Maar ook de drukte van Giethoorn vlakbij. Woonboot zelf is strak ingericht, en alles is aanwezig om heerlijk te relaxen. Luxe complete keuken om heerlijk in te kokkerellen. Passanten kijken/staren met bewondering; dat kan door sommigen als hinderlijk worden ervaren. Wij vonden het wel leuk en gezellig. Super verblijf.

Das Boot ist sehr geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtet, schönes Bad mit großer Badewanne, es wurde auf eine hochwertige und stilvolle Einrichtung geachtet. Man hat einen wunderbaren Ausblick nach draußen, fast überall sind Glasfronten verbaut und es kommt viel Tageslicht herein. Eine sehr schöne Atmosphäre um zu entspannen und ein paar gemütliche Tage zu verbringen, es lohnt sich. Die Gastgeber sind sehr bemüht ihren Gästen einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt zu bieten. Wir werden definitiv wieder herkommen.

The boat villa was absolutely a great place to spend some time near the tourist village Giethoorn. The house is indeed luxurious, it has a lot of space and nice interior-exterior design. Everything was very clean and the location was amazing and quiet. I fully recommend this house to stay, as you don’t have many chances to stay in a floating house anywhere in the world. The Giethoorn village is 5 min by car where you can rent a boat and visit the canals and the national park. We also used the two free bicycles that the house owner provides to guests and went for a ride near Jonen.

The houseboat is really very light thanks to the large windows, giving wonderful views over the water. The boat is just built, so everything is brand new and contemporary designed. And Giethoorn is a must-visit when you decide to come to the Netherlands - Just love it!

If you have the chance to rent this houseboat, I highly recommend to do so. Actually closer to Germany than I thought 😉 The boat is very modern and well designed, located in a lovely canal in Giethoorn. Don't know when, but we'll be back hopefully sooner than later!

De omgeving is zo rustgevend en prachtig aan het water. Bij binnenkomst heb je meteen een ‘wauwgevoel’ met al die mooie ramen en niveauverschillen waardoor je steeds weer in verbinding bent met de natuur. Wat een mooie inrichting van alle gemakken voorzien. Alles was op en top geregeld. We hebben ons zeer welkom gevoeld en we komen graag een keer terug.

We had enjoyable moments with the family in this lovely houseboat. The house was very clean and perfectly equipped with all necessary items and equipments. The User Manual provided by the house owner was very useful and explains all house operations and machinaries in details. The view over the river is fantastic from the house. I would like to thank the house owner Ms. Marja for her assistance and of course will repeat this experience in other seasons of the next year. Highly recommended for relaxing moments.

“This is one of the best Airbnb experience! We woke up in the morning with bird singing and little quark of the ducks in the water. After breakfast, we sit on the garden furniture outside of the boat house, watching ducks swimming and feeding them with a few breadcrumbs. Then we went out for a walk in the Giethoorn town center, only 3 min away by drive from the boat house, there are nice views of sheep and farm houses on the way as well. There is also a Spar supermarket nearby, so we bought a few simple food to cook for dinner in the fully equipped kitchen in boat house. Marja has got good selection of the music from Mozart to Philip Glass to the Queen. We played music while in dinner, basically there are speakers in every room, so you can hear the same piece of music everywhere. LED candles were provided to if need more romance. After dinner, we had reading in our own bedrooms, and a rain shower before bed! All curtains, lightings, windows, heatings are controlled by remote! Totally high-tech! In the next morning, we did cycling a bit, there were 2 bikes outside of the house! Marja and Linda replied my queries every time so quick. Everything was perfect!! Thank you so much for having us as guest, great experience!”

Perfekt!

Ein modernes Hausboot mitten in der Natur.

Das Hausboot ist ein Traum. Alles was das Herz begehrt und dazu modern und gut durchdacht.

Die Lage ist perfekt. Die Sicht in die Natur einmalig. In wenigen Minuten ist man mit dem Fahrrad im Zentrum von Giethoorn. Wir haben 1 Woche Urlaub gemacht. Sind Fahrrad gefahren, haben uns ein Boot geliehen und sind Kanu gefahren. Nachmittags haben wir auf der kleinen Terrasse am Hausboot gesessen und den anderen Bootsfahrern zugewunken. Klasse.

Vielen Dank auch noch Mal an die Inhaber/Vermieter für den netten Kontakt und die sehr ausführliche Informationen (Gästebuch) vorab.

Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!!

Samengevat in één woord…..GEWELDIG.
Jullie watervilla overtrof al onze verwachtingen. In deze rare tijd van Corona, waren wij even toe aan rust. En rust hebben wij ervaren. Wij voelden ons zo vrij als een vogeltje, terwijl wij van alle gemakken voorzien waren. Wij kunnen dan ook niet anders, dan jullie watervilla aan een ieder aanbevelen.
Dank dat wij een week in jullie schitterende watervilla mochten verblijven.
